WHAT IS THIS

The des hume initiative is a for-profit organization dedicated to researching utopian social dynamics. We have operated from our centres in Vancouver and Sealand since the 1980s. If you are here, you likely found us through a streaming service where we release music on a semi-regular basis. 

BUT THERE’S A PICTURE OF ONE PERSON

The photographs are A.I. generated images of The Founder of our organization. They are camera shy, so our archive team has created a composite image with the assistance of machine learning software to create our best interpretation of their present day appearance.

WHO OR WHAT IS DES HUME

The origin of the name des hume (pronounced dez hyoom) has been lost to time and is not, as suggested by detractors, a reference to a character from a popular ABC television drama. 

IS THIS A CULT

Certainly not. The dhi is a research organization, registered in Canada. We have been thoroughly investigated on multiple occasions and no formal charges have been filed.
