In early 2020, copies of a modest blue booklet began to appear in coffee shops, venues, museums, bookstores, and other cultural hubs across the planet. What began as a small volunteer-run effort to share an out-of-print handbook from the 1980s turned into a global distribution network, beginning in Western Canada and spreading to New York, Chicago, Halifax, Toronto, London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Oslo and Nairobi. The COVID-19 pandemic halted efforts for further distribution, but copies have now been made available for individual or group purchase.
